Comfort Food Community (CFC) is a non-profit food-access organization based out of Greenwich serving Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties. CFC provides nourishing food to neighbors in need by providing fresh food to libraries, schools, senior centers, and neighboring food pantries.
The Hyde Collection is one of the Northeast’s exceptional art museums with distinguished collections of European and American art. Comparable to that of a major metropolitan museum, the core collection, acquired by Museum founders Louis and Charlotte Hyde, includes works by such artists as Sandro Botticelli, El Greco, Rembrandt, Peter Paul Rubens, Edgar Degas, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and American artists Thomas Eakins, Childe Hassam, Winslow Homer, and James McNeill Whistler. The Museum’s collection of Modern and Contemporary art features works by artists including Josef Albers, Dorothy Dehner, Sam Gilliam, Adolph Gottlieb, Grace Hartigan, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, George McNeil, Robert Motherwell, Ben Nicholson, Robert Rauschenberg, and Bridget Riley. The Glens Falls Collaborative is a 501(c)(6) volunteer-led membership organization originally formed in 2012 by a group of dedicated merchants looking to cross-promote and increase business in Downtown Glens Falls.
The Collaborative not only creates an annually-updated brochure and directory of our membership, but has grown to organize major events and create joint advertising opportunities. We have a variety of member groups including retail, restaurants, arts and non-profits, health and wellness groups, media arts firms, many different service providers and other area businesses.
Our restaurant philosophy at Mint, embraces a contemporary balanced approach to sourcing local food and crafting dishes from scratch. We prioritize using high-quality oils and predominantly organic ingredients to create healthy, delicious, and visually appealing meals. Our menu features abundant gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, catering to diverse dietary preferences. We are committed to sustainability, sourcing proteins from local pastures or wild-caught waters.
In addition to our farm-to-table cuisine, we have a full craft cocktail bar featuring local products and spirits. Our bar is a welcoming space for our patrons to enjoy a drink and relax in a comfortable atmosphere. We support local breweries for our beer selection and small craft distilleries for our liquor offerings. Our wine selection showcases small artisan vineyards worldwide, renowned for sustainable, dynamic, or organic farming practices. We believe in supporting the small farmers, crafters, artisans with their hands in the clay. We believe it transfers into a better experience for customers, as well as helping the local economy.
