The Glens Falls Collaborative is a 501(c)(6) volunteer-led membership organization originally formed in 2012 by a group of dedicated merchants looking to cross-promote and increase business in Downtown Glens Falls.
The Collaborative not only creates an annually-updated brochure and directory of our membership, but has grown to organize major events and create joint advertising opportunities. We have a variety of member groups including retail, restaurants, arts and non-profits, health and wellness groups, media arts firms, many different service providers and other area businesses.
Each year ATF produces a summer season of theatre using professional artists from New York City and across the country. ATF operates under a Small Professional Theatre Agreement with Actors’ Equity Association (the union of professional actors) casting top-level talent primarily out of NYC. The actors you see on our stage, as well as the designers and directors, have worked regularly on and off-Broadway, on television, and in movies. ATF is the leading professional theatre in the Capital Region dedicated to producing new plays and musicals.
The Cool Insuring Arena is the region’s top destination for events and sports including concerts, hockey, shows, and more. The Cool Insuring Arena is home to the Adirondack Thunder.

To serve the needs of the LGBTQ community in the greater Glens Falls/lower Adirondack region.
OUR HISTORY
The Bridge was founded by LGBTQ activist Andrea Adams in March 2006. She passed away in 2015, but a group of board members continued her work, organizing June PRIDE events in Crandall Park for many years. Now the group is revitalized, and seeking new volunteers to carry the torch forward.
In the heart of Glens Falls, New York, Downtown Social has everything you are looking for under one roof. Our unique space allows family, friends and individuals to gather and Get Social! I am fortunate to possess the spirit, love, and looks of the most recognized figure in the world, Santa Claus. I make people joyful and help them keep the spirit of Christmas alive all year long. I began portraying Santa in 2013 at Albany lights in the Park after being asked by a friend and fellow Santa, Mel Deigel. I originally started portraying Santa with a theatrical beard, but realized I loved it so much that I grew my own Beard instead. I have been blessed to visit with children Locally at many events and locations through the years.

The Hyde Collection is one of the Northeast’s exceptional art museums with distinguished collections of European and American art. At Glens Falls Karate Academy we are all about creating a respected martial arts training facility and community fixture in the Glens Falls Region. We are dedicated to the study of martial arts, specifically Okinawan Karate, and also serve as an early childhood development center.

The World Awareness Children’s Museum has been a NYS Designated Charter Museum since 1995 with a mission to inspire curiosity and foster understanding and appreciation of worldwide cultural diversity. Its collection is comprised of pieces from 140 countries including 8,000+ artifacts (fashion, musical instruments, dolls, toys and other objects) as well as 7,000+ pieces of international children’s art.
