Our mission at the Senior Center is to seek and improve the quality of life for those 55 and older in the Greater Glens Falls area by offering a wide range of educational, health, and recreational related activities and services both at the Center and in the Community. The Center is centrally located, handicapped accessible. The program is implemented by a professional staff that treats all who participate with dignity and respect and a warm welcome.

The Feeder Canal Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to preserving, promoting and enhancing the historic Glens Falls Feeder Canal & Towpath Trail - a free, family-friendly 7-mile linear recreational site where visitors can walk, run, cycle, canoe, kayak and snowshoe (weather permitting.) Formed in 2012, Northern Rivers is the parent organization to Northeast Parent & Child Society (founded in 1888 in Schenectady), Parsons Child & Family Center (founded in 1829 in Albany), and Unlimited Potential (founded in Saratoga Springs in 1979). Together we serve more than 16,000 children, adults, and families across 35 counties in New York state who struggle with abuse, neglect, trauma, mental health challenges, educational difficulties, career training and employment, and service navigation through an innovative continuum of home-, clinic-, school-, and community-based services, vocational rehabilitation, supported employment, and senior-supporting programs that provide person-centered, trauma-informed innovative solutions to ensure clients live their best lives.

To serve the needs of the LGBTQ community in the greater Glens Falls/lower Adirondack region.
The Bridge was founded by LGBTQ activist Andrea Adams in March 2006. She passed away in 2015, but a group of board members continued her work, organizing June PRIDE events in Crandall Park for many years. Now the group is revitalized, and seeking new volunteers to carry the torch forward.
The Tri-County United Way is an organization dedicated to helping people in Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga counties. We work to improve lives and make a positive impact by raising resources, both monetary and volunteer. We strive to do this through collaboration with others;encouraging volunteerism and resolving community problems through identifying and communicating our community's priority issues.
