The Hyde Collection is one of the Northeast’s exceptional art museums with distinguished collections of European and American art. Comparable to that of a major metropolitan museum, the core collection, acquired by Museum founders Louis and Charlotte Hyde, includes works by such artists as Sandro Botticelli, El Greco, Rembrandt, Peter Paul Rubens, Edgar Degas, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and American artists Thomas Eakins, Childe Hassam, Winslow Homer, and James McNeill Whistler. Crandall Public Library offers about 350,000 reading, viewing, and listening materials (including digital formats); a Children’s Library with several activity spaces; a Teen Center; computer and internet access; expansive educational, cultural, and literary programs for all ages; free meeting/program space for local non-profits; and a comfortable, accessible space in which to read, study, and socialize. The Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library offers programs, exhibits, and research related to cultural traditions of the region.

The Charles R. Wood Theater is a 501(c)3 nonprofit year-round performing arts center. We manage a 294 seat auditorium with fully professional and updated technical systems. The theater also houses a large rehearsal space, office space, technical set building space, and fully ADA compliant dressing rooms. Each year, nearly 350 events happen at the Theater, including theater performances, musicals, concerts, dance performances, meetings, parties, weddings, rehearsals, auditions, and educational classes.

The World Awareness Children’s Museum has been a NYS Designated Charter Museum since 1995 with a mission to inspire curiosity and foster understanding and appreciation of worldwide cultural diversity. Its collection is comprised of pieces from 140 countries including 8,000+ artifacts (fashion, musical instruments, dolls, toys and other objects) as well as 7,000+ pieces of international children’s art.
Art and artifacts are featured in the Museum’s hands-on learning space go! where children discover the world.
