Adirondack Holiday Festival

The Adirondack Holiday Festival, hosted by the Glens Falls Collaborative, is a festive weekend celebration featuring classic holiday traditions and Adirondack charm. Kick off the weekend on Friday with a joyful parade, the lighting of the community tree, and visits from Santa Claus. Throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, explore a variety of vendors offering Adirondack-themed goods, perfect for unique holiday gifts. Whether you’re looking for handcrafted items, cozy winter apparel, or locally made treats, this festival captures the spirit of the season in the heart of the Adirondacks. Fun for all ages, it’s the ideal way to celebrate the holidays!

**This year, the event has moved from the grounds of City Park to Maple Street to increase accessibility for everyone.**

Schedule:

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6TH, 2024
4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Market Open for Shopping on Maple Street (Adirondack-themed items, food trucks, artists, and more!)
5 p.m. to 8 p.m. – A balloon sculpture will be in Santa’s Workshop on Maple Street
5:30 p.m. – 4th Annual Santa Parade kicks off from First Presbyterian Church, travels down Glen, and ends on Maple Street.
6 p.m. – Holiday Tree Lighting
6 p.m. to 7 p.m. – The Bolton Dance Academy and Adirondack Dance Theater will be performing on Glen Street
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Downtown businesses and restaurants will be open, offering specials and treats to patrons.
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Santa Visits on Maple Street
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – The McKrells Holiday Show on Maple Street

Friday Night Fun includes children’s activities like a balloon artist, face painting, and more!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 2024
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Market Open for Shopping on Maple Street
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Activities will be available for children in Santa’s Workshop
12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Santa Visits and Letters to Santa
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Live music by Jay Mullen & The Spotters

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8TH, 2024
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Market Open for Shopping on Maple Street
12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Santa will visit with children in his workshop. There will also be a coloring contest throughout the day for children.
12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – The McKrells Holiday Show will be performed on the stage
