Glens Falls Collaborative members and prospective members are invited to this membership mixer and meeting hosted by Crystal Gardner, Mary Kay Rep., at Lake George Olive Oil Company at 179 Glen Street.
The Glens Falls Collaborative plans its annual Wing Fest on Saturday, April 29, from noon to 3 p.m. in Downtown Glens Falls. The event is a competition between restaurants for the best wings. Tasting is from noon to 3 p.m. and an awards ceremony at the bandstand in City Park will close out the event. Tickets are $1 each, and the number of tickets to taste varies by restaurant.
Restaurants are invited to participate by applying online at www.glensfallscollaborative.com. It’s $50 to participate for those who are not yet members of the Glens Falls Collaborative, and free for Collaborative members. Membership costs $240 for the year, and members enjoy free participation in all Collaborative events.
Participating restaurants will be listed on the event map, and on the website and event page prior to the event. They set their own prices in regards to number of tickets per taste. Vendors are invited to table as well: Free for members, $50 for non-members.
The event is on Glen, Ridge and Maple Streets.
There are two trophies up for grabs: the Judge’s Choice, and the People’s choice. Judges will taste each entry, and for the public to vote, they must taste from at least eight different restaurants.
Restaurants who are not setting up in front of their own establishment must fill out a mobile New York State Department of Health permit, available from the Collaborative.
Sponsorships are also sought at the following levels:
