Our mission at the Senior Center is to seek and improve the quality of life for those 55 and older in the Greater Glens Falls area by offering a wide range of educational, health, and recreational related activities and services both at the Center and in the Community. The Center is centrally located, handicapped accessible. The program is implemented by a professional staff that treats all who participate with dignity and respect and a warm welcome.

Studio #311 offers Art Classes in Drawing and in Oil Painting for adults or serious high school students.
We also offer Meditation gatherings, and classes in Metaphysical topics.
Groups and private sessions are offered in alternative healing modalities including Reiki, Hawaiian Energetics, and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Nearcare is an independent 501c3 non profit. For the past 34 years Nearcare, formerly Caritas, and its trained volunteers have been providing non medical support, free of charge, to seriously and terminally ill individuals and their families living in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga counties.
Services include companioning, respite for caregivers, transportation to medical appointments, assistance with errands, and diversion for children with an ill parent.

The Open Door is a Christian non-profit ministry outreach of Servants of the Word, Inc. and is dedicated to serving the hunger needs of our Greater Glens Falls community without regard to race, color, creed or sexual orientation.
The mission of the Open Door is accomplished largely through the provision of nutritious meals served in a friendly and welcoming environment that includes encouragement for daily living, health screening and ongoing support for those in various community based treatment and support programs.
